Why price per door?

Every condo is different: a 6-unit building doesn't have the same needs as an 80-unit one. By charging per door, everyone pays a fair price, proportional to their size, without subsidizing the largest condos.

What is a "door"?
A door is a unit in your condominium: an apartment, a commercial space, a private parking spot, etc. It's the base unit used in most condominium laws in Quebec.
How is the total price calculated?
Simply multiply the number of doors in your condo by the chosen rate. For 20 doors monthly: 20 × $2.99 = $59.80/mo. Annually: 20 × $29.90 = $598/yr. The board or manager pays a single bill for the whole association.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, at any time from your account settings. The annual plan works out to $2.49/door/mo (2 months free): for a 20-door condo, that's $119.60 saved per year.
How is Kohabit different from other software?
Our pricing is public and the same for everyone, no negotiation. Everything is included from the start: no paid modules or base fees inflating the bill. And your data is hosted in Canada.
How does the free month work?
Every new condo gets a one-month free trial, with all features and no credit card. You have time to set everything up and invite your co-owners before deciding.
What happens at the end of the trial?
At the end of the free month, you choose to subscribe (monthly or annual) to continue. If you do nothing, manager access is paused: your data stays intact and you can reactivate the subscription whenever you want.
Is my data kept if I don't activate a subscription?
Yes. Your data, history, documents and configurations are kept whether you subscribe or not. You can export all of your data for free, at any time, from your account settings.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. No commitment, no penalty. You can cancel and export your data at any time from your account settings.
